BIOGRAPHY
I'm Bryan Vega, a 20 year old junior at Borough of Manhattan Community College & Adobe-Certified graphic designer. I've been designing with Adobe Photoshop ever since I was 12 years old, & for the last 6 years I've been studying in high school & college on how to be an efficient Graphic Designer.

At the Borough of Manhattan Community College, I am currently studying Multimedia Programming And Design and have been since august 2022. I soon plan to transfer primarily to Queens College to complete my bachelors in Design with a focus on Graphic Design. I come from a vibrant neighborhood from Queens by the name of Jackson Heights and I was born and raised there.

I come from a decent family and during my time growing up, I mainly spent my time on the internet. I came across photoshop primarily & began using the program to make thumbnails for a YouTube channel I ran as a kid. From there, I

chose graphic design as a specialty class since I went to a vocational school, and developed a further interest and knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
I've learnt how to retouch photos on an intermediate level & I've also learnt the basis of how to make a photorealistic design not just using Bevel & Emboss. I've also learnt how color models work, how to avoid bleeding colors on the design when it's printed, and how to communicate in professional environments through emulation of such environments.
VALUES
VALUES
I've picked up many values that I think people looking for someone to complete their project would desire in them. Whether it be in an office setting or a commission, I would think that these traits make me best suited for the job
I'm a highly ambitious, highly responsible person looking to be tasked with more pieces that will put to the test all that I've picked up the past 4 years of studying. I'm very responsible in completing all these in a timely manner. I'm very creative and dedicated to my craft, so much so that I always have different sketches for multiple projects, unless told to do so in a certain manner. Wether it be a silent environment, or a vibrant one, I am always able to get my work done. I'm able to organize myself, as well as help those who need help so that we always stay on track to enjoy ourselves later.
STRENGTHS
A lot of my strengths focus on me being able to come up with an abundance of designs if given enough time. I also focus on my designs in detail, meaning I never like to leave small details incomplete or left out. Due to that, I believe that this would be the most desired trait in those seeking a great design headed by a group of people.
More than that, I'm able to synergize well in a team, and I can provide detailed criticism that can help those who need the help and are willing to listen. I'm able to demonstrate how to do such, and I don't compare people to others. This would make me able to uplift others, raising morale, and productivity.
INTERESTS
Though I listed being able to focus on minor details as one of my strengths, it is also one of my weaknesses. Sometimes, I get stuck up on these details because I want it to be perfect, but they run me off track. Something else I'd like to improve is in the work schedule. For my projects, I do sometimes sit down for a long time in order to complete projects, but I usually want to do other things, leading me to rush some areas. After finishing for the day, the next day I fix up the rough patches, start new areas and do the same.

I would like to improve this, and I do try improving these skills. But other than behavioral interests, I would also like to move deeper in my career. I would want to be designing for services in which the usage of promotional artwork is heavily important, such as movies and products, especially ones that many people would look at. This is to immortalize myself in them and have my artwork be memorable to a considerable amount of people.
SHORT AND LONG TERM GOALS
In a year or 2, I would want to see myself have a couple of paid artworks, some recognition and a decent amount of my income come from digital artwork. I do not expect to be a very sought after individual for when it comes to artwork, but I would want to see some customers, at least more than 5 in 2 years.

In a decade, I would want to be a designer who has worked with renowned people, made connections with many, and have worked for multiple agencies, earning hundreds of thousands of dollars. I envision myself rubbing elbows with future music artists, designer brands, brands that I enjoy now, ludicrously famous people and much more.
But to reach this level of fame, I would have to completely dedicate myself to the craft, as well as developing a social network of people who recommend everything to everyone. That means that I would have to go out and reach for possible clients so that I can have more work, trading in my time for money and fame. This would be the favorable outcome. I know this may be unrealistic, but it would be impressive if by the age of 27, I had already been introduced into world-wide infamy, having my work in billboards across Tokyo, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Moscow, etc.
